ASIS International

Founded in 1955 as the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the organization officially shortened its name to
ASIS International in 2002 to reflect its growing international reach. Today, the organization includes members in more than 125 countries. The name "American Society for Industrial Security" no longer exists except in historical legal documents.

ASIS International hosts an annual seminar and exhibition that is an educational and networking event considered one of the industry highlights of each calendar year.
